Florence L. Wilson

Wilson, Florence L. (Benson) Florence, age 86, went to be with our Lord on July 25, 2011 after a prolonged illness. She attended Catholic schools in Denver, graduating from Annunciation High School in 1942. She married the love of her life, Bill in 1951 after a whirlwind courtship. The union produced two sons, Ray and Tim whom she doted on. She loved family life, especially later in life when she had grandchildren whom she would take shopping, dragging Dad around the malls until she shopped until he dropped. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lucille Benson, her husband William J. (Bill), son Timothy A, and sister Madonna Bickford. She is survived by her brother Bud (Betty) Benson, son Ray (Beverly) Wilson and 4 grandchildren, K. Verona, William Todd, Donald and Jackie Ann. Visitation Wednesday from 3 to 7 pm, with a rosary at 7 pm. Mass on Thursday at Gardens of St. Elizabeth chapel at 9:30 am, internment will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
