Floyd Junior Samuel Born in Denver, CO July 23, 1941 Died at Saint Luke's Presbyterian April 29, 2008 Memorial Service & Reception Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 at 4:00 PM At Horan & McConaty 3101 South Wadsworth Blvd (north of Hampden Ave. on Wadsworth, west side) Casual Dress is Suggested Floyd learned he had cancer March 2007. He fought the cancer for several months often times amazing the doctors by how well he was doing. After a long battle he finally succumbed to an infection on April 29th, 2008 at Saint Lukes Presbyterian Hospital. Floyd was a very kind and big-hearted person. Throughout his life, to the very end, he was helping people out. Whether it was a meal, money, a place to stay or a job he was always there to help. He gave everyone the benefit of the doubt, and never judged people by their race, appearance or actions. He was the first person to give someone a second, third even fourth chance. He was the ROCK for many people and will be dearly missed by everyone. For a man working in a junkyard, one of his favorite things were flowers. He had a knack for landscaping and making the ugly beautiful, like his heart. He loved to cook, not in a kitchen but outside on some of the strangest grills you have ever seen. We have had some amazing junkyard barbeques where he originated the junkyard burger, which will never be duplicated. Reading was another passion of his to help him unwind at night. He loved small children and animals. All of us who knew him have to smile and laugh at the dogs, cats, geese, birds, raccoon, Billy goat and peacock that he brought home to his wife. Floyd is survived by his: Wife Regina Mary Jo Samuel Brothers Carl Willam Samuel, Gary Rossi Sister Artise Darlene Augusto Children Andy Vitteto, Wayne Samuel, LaNae Thompson, Jeffery Samuel, Dayna Marie, Sheila Lefor Grandchildren Sarah Samuel, Wayde Samuel, Chelsea Samuel, David Reagle, Sloan Samuel, Caleb Lefor, Drew Vittetoe, Tyler Vittetoe, Ryan Vittetoe Great-granddaughter Angela Samuel
