Frances Wynne Boggs

Frances Wynne Boggs, age 97 of Wheat Ridge, Colorado passed away peacefully on May 28, 2016. She was born September 10, 1918 in Hampton, Virginia. Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Raymond W. in 2002. Frances and Ray were longtime residents of Deerfield Beach, Florida and moved to Dunklin Memorial Camp in Okeechobee, Florida, in 1973 serving on staff for many years. Throughout her life Frances was active in church and served for many years on various volunteer mission assignments around the United States with the Southern Baptist Convention. Her remaining years were spent with her family in Colorado enjoying her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered for her many creative talents, great storytelling, priceless advice, and powerful prayers. Her genuine kindness, love, and friendship will be greatly missed by all. Survivors include: daughters, Carol W. (Floyd) Sasa of Wheat Ridge, Colorado and Sandra B. (Daniel) DeVore of Lakewood, Colorado ; sons, Raymond W. Boggs Jr. of Annapolis, Maryland, Richard G. (Carla) Boggs of Okeechobee and Ronald E. (BettiSu) Boggs of Deerfield Beach, Florida; brother Robert W. (Ethel) Wynne of Ashland, Virginia. 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren also survive her. The Graveside Services were held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Dunklin Memorial Camp, Okeechobee, Florida. Interment will be in Dunklin Cemetery by Buxton/Bass Funeral Home. A Memorial Service honoring Frances will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2016 2016 at 1:30 P.M. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado.
