Frances Domenico

Frances "Fran" Domenico, 96 of Lakewood passed into eternal life on April 21, 2023.  She was born to William and Marcella Marson in Shickley, Nebraska, and was one of seven daughters.  Fran spent her childhood helping on her father’s farm, before moving to Lincoln, Nebraska, where she graduated from Saint Elizabeth School of Nursing, as a Registered Nurse.

In 1952, she moved to Denver, Colorado, with two of her sisters and began working at Childrens Hospital.

She met her beloved husband, Vince, of 53 years and they married August 20, 1955.  Fran and Vince had 4 children: Ann Longstreth (Kevin), Joan Freeman (Rick), Tom Domenico (Patty) and Michele Moffitt (Jeff).

Fran was a devoted mother and wife, and enjoyed involvement in Our Lady of Fatima School, golf and traveling the world.

She adored her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Vince, her grandson Zach, and sisters Doris Brosius, Kathryn Murray, Wilma Miller, Ann Roth, Victoria Mulvey and Mary Marson.

She is survived by her children, and grandchildren Kayte (CJ), Scott (Kori), Brian (Ellie), Ben, Abby (Tom), Claire, John and her great grandchildren Vincent and Owen Foster, Luke and Henry Freeman, Iris and Emmy Domenico, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1985 Miller Street, Lakewood, Colorado, Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 11 AM.

Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery will be private.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
