Frances Anne Douglas

Fran, 79, of Aurora, died Thursday, January 29th. She is survived by her husband, Parker; sons, Carl, James, and Brian; daughters, Susan De- Mere, and Diane Romoth. Born in Colorado Springs, Fran grew up in Denver, graduated from Cathedral High School and Mt. St. Scholastica College in Atchison, Kansas. Before retiring, she taught high school math and worked as controller and treasurer in the family businesses. Visitation will be Monday, February 2nd, from 1 - 6 PM, followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 6 PM, both at Horan & McConaty, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave., Aurora. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, February 3rd, 10 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 13120 E. Kentucky Ave., Aurora. Burial will be Wednesday, February 4th, 1 PM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. Fran suffered several years from the rare disease, Progressive SupraNuclear Palsy (PSP).
