Frances Ricci

Frances M. Ricci was born March 12, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio.  Her early childhood was spent in Campobasso, Italy where she enjoyed the temperate climate and easily learned the Italian language.  At the age of 14 she returned to Ohio and lived for a time with her brother Joe.  It was there that she finished night school and worked in a children's rehabilitation home.

During World War II, while the men were fighting in Europe she worked with many of her friends at Lamb Electric in Kent Ohio.  In 1946 she married Enio Ricci and together they raised 5 children.

In retirement she enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, California and Cape Cod. She also was a long-time parishioner of Saint Patrick Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

She is survived by her children, Laura Schillinger, Sandra Ricci(Bill Bastian), Marian Ricci, Alex Ricci(Linda) and Justine Ricci and 4 grandchildren, Julianna Anderson, (Christian) Andrea Oswald, (Danny) Matt Ricci and Ben Bastian and 4 great grandchildren, Zachary Oswald, Lucas Oswald, Jack Driggers and Cole Driggers.

She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, devout faith and a love of family.  Of special note, was the care and dedication of the nurses and staff at Shalom Park and the Denver Hospice.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Shalom Park, 14800 E Belleview Ave. Aurora CO 80015.

A Memorial Mass is scheduled for Friday, June 10, 2022 at 8:30 am St Patrick Church Kent, Ohio.
