Frances Elizabeth Hazel Davis Summers was born March 3, 1926 in Audubon County Iowa, to her parents Hazel Davis and Clarence Davis. Frances was the youngest, of the family with five older brothers who lived and worked the family farm. Frances moved to Denver Colorado at the age of 18 in 1944, and took a job with the Atena Insurance Company. While living in Denver, she met the love of her life, Carlos B. Summers and they were married in 1956 and together raised two children, Clark and Carol. Carlos worked for the Burlington Northern C&S Santa Fe Railroad and sadly passed away in 1995. Frances loved her rich family history and cherished her memories of growing up on the farm. Frances and Carlos were long time residents of Denver and enjoyed very much the close friendships they had made over the years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Carlos, her mother Hazel Edna Davis, her father Clarence Davis, and her brothers Alva Jacob Davis, Harold Leroy Davis, Marvin Sanford Davis, Dallas Wayne Davis, and Donald Clarence Davis. She is survived by her son Clark, her daughter Carol, and two grand children Tony and Taylor.
