Francis J. Ozog

Ozog, Francis J., Ph.D. "Doc" Born September 9, 1922, in Poland. Passed away on May 27, 2009. Frank immigrated to the United States on Christmas Eve 1929 and grew up in Detroit, Michigan. After serving in the Navy during World War II Frank received his Ph.D. from Northwestern University. He taught chemistry at Regis University for 40 years and was official chemist for the Colorado State Racing Commission. Doc is loved and survived by his wife Agnes; daughter Kathleen (Michael John) Heymans; Mark F. Ozog, M.D., and his children David and Paul; Michael T. (Amy) Ozog, Ph.D., and their children Gus and Eve. Memorial Mass Wednesday, June 17, 11:00 a.m. at St. John Francis Chapel, Regis University, 3333 Regis Boulevard, Denver, with reception to follow.
