Francis "Fran" Durso

On Monday, April 11, 2022, Francis Durso, loving husband and father, sadly passed away at the age of 49. Francis was born September 4, 1972, and grew up in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. He later moved to Lakewood, Colorado, made it his home, and built his career as a real estate developer.

Nothing was more important to Fran than his family, and he was so proud of them. He prioritized his life around his wife, Jennifer, and his two sons, Jacob and Jonathan. Fran was a loving son and brother and enjoyed being part of a large family. He had many friends. Fran was vibrant and lit up a room, and his down-to-earth nature made him approachable to all. Always looking for ways to help others, Fran was very generous with his time and his talents. He loved the outdoors and became a highly skilled snowboarder and mountain biker. As an athlete and sports enthusiast, his greatest joys included hiking with his family and watching his sons play sports. He will be greatly missed.

Francis is survived by his wife, Jennifer, his two sons, Jacob and Jonathan, his parents, John and Dolores Durso, his brothers, Christopher (wife, Karen), John (wife, Barbraa), Jerome (wife, Julie), Thomas, and Daniel (wife, Sole), and many nieces and nephews.

Please join us in honoring Fran’s life on Monday, April 18th at Notre Dame Catholic Parish in Denver, CO. The funeral service is scheduled for 10 AM. A reception will follow at the Lakewood Link Recreation Center.
