Frank J. Dalpes, Jr.

Frank J. Dalpes, Jr.-PGA, beloved husband, father and friend passed away peacefully with family by his side. He was a special man who touched so many during his time with us. Survived by his wife of 30 years, Cathy; daughters Mary Rose (Conrad) Kindsfather, Margy (Pat) Dalpes, Barbara (Ron) Adair and sons Grant (Lori) Dalpes and Joe Dalpes. Preceded in death by his daughter Anne Marie Dalpes. Together with his father, Frank Jr. managed Willis Case Golf Course in north Denver for 36 years from 1950 to 1986. Frank became a PGA Member in 1960 and spent his entire career at Willis Case Golf Course. Frank became the Head Professional and contract owner shortly after becoming a member and retained that position until he left Willis Case in 1986. Frank was instrumental in Denver City Golf from the late 60's until he retired from golf in 1986. He gave numerous current and past PGA members their start as Assistants at Willis Case as well as creating a family legacy that now boasts 4 generations of PGA Members. Please join us for a Celebration of his Life Memorial Service on Friday, February 22, 2013, 11:00AM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Ave., Arvada. A Lunch Reception will be held following the service at Willis Case Golf Course, 4999 Vrain Street, Denver. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Colorado PGA Foundation 6630 Bear Dance Rd. Larkspur, CO 80118.
