Frank Deanda, 73, of Thornton. Preceded in death by son, Steven Deanda. Loving husband of Shirley. Father of Susan (Juan) Bailon, Donna (Stephen) Andrade, Richard (Jennifer) Deanda, Joyce (Jerad) Ginther, Walter (Jennifer) Ziolo, Jeffrey (Tamara) Ziolo and Denise (Eric) Ericson. Grandfather of Judy (David) Lohnes, Katie Bell, Kari (Brandon) Crankshaw, Jesse Andrade, Adam Deanda, Marco Andrade, Arthur Andrade, Megan Deanda, Blake Ginther, Bodhi Ginther, Nick Ziolo, Jason Ziolo, Avery Stephenson, Abby Stephenson, Rowan Ziolo, Rhett Ziolo, Anna Stephenson and Reileigh Ziolo. Great grandfather of Jasmine Crankshaw, Kylie Rogers, Leland Crankshaw, Wyatt Lohnes. Brother of Martin Deanda, Irene Ramirez, Joe Deanda, Pauline Castillo. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Frank came to Colorado from Texas in 1957 and lived the rest of his life in Colorado. He was a sheet metal worker for 28 years until his company closed down. Frank then went to work for the University of Colorado and worked there about 5 years before he retired. In his younger years, his hobbies were camping and fishing with his family and friends. In the last few years he enjoyed traveling with his wife, Shirley, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 10am, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton.
