Frank M. Gibbs

On November 16 2024 we said goodbye to Frank Michael Gibbs, age 81, a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather, and husband. 

Frank was born August 22, 1943. He attended Southern Illinois University, where he majored in communications, and was told "he had a face for radio". He then enlisted in the Air Force and became and officer during the Vietnam War. Later, he found his true calling of being a salesman where he sold Medtronic pacemakers and was promoted to District Manager. During this time he earned his MBA before retiring at 60. 

Frank was the person who would talk to anyone, anywhere, at any time. He was everyone's dad, and one of his many "adopted" children named him Franklin and it stuck. Frank loved photography, fly fishing, cooking, and traveling. 

He is survived by his wife Carol, four children, Matt, Ryan, Gracie, and Peter (Angela, whom he is now reunited with in heaven), five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. 

Frank passed peacefully, surrounded by love and all of his family.
