He graduated from Monte Vista High School in 1963 and earned his Bachelor's of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University in 1968. Frank was a longstanding member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Society of American Military Engineers and the Navel Reserve Association. He married Judy Letourneau in 1968 and had two children, Heather and Christopher. He is survived by his wife Judy, daughter Heather and son Christopher; Brother Ray; Son-in-law Darrin Coffman, two grandchildren, Nathan and Taylor; nephews Kevin, Gary, Steve, Marc and Jeff and niece, Amy. He enjoyed hiking in the mountains, riding his bike, reading, camping and working for the United States Park Service. He loved photography, telling stories and jokes, animals and spending time with family and friends. He was active in his children's sporting events (coaching and cheering) and had a great sense of humor. Our family has received a great amount of support from many people over the years and we want to express our deepest appreciation to those who have shown our family love and compassion!
