Frank J. Palmeri

Frank, the last remaining child of Elena and Antonio Palmeri, is preceded in death by his siblings, Mary (Mike) Smaldone, Alice ""Lassie"" (Sal) Piro, and John (Rose). He is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-six years, Rosemary; children, Frank (Mihoko Suzuki), Gloria (Chuck) Powell, John (Camille), and Eileen (Rich) Clymo; grandchildren, Nicholas (Emily Dawson), Teresa (Yev) Aspidov, Becky (Adam) Alberti-Powell, Winston, Michael and Jenna; great-grandchild, Bowen; sister-in-law, Rose Palmeri; and numerous nieces and nephews. Frank served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-1946 in the Pacific Theater. Frank was a teacher and coach in Jefferson County and announced high school sports for more than fifty years. Among other honors, he was inducted into the Colorado High School Activities Association Hall of Fame in 2012. An active member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, he was a recipient of their Silver Cross. He loved announcing, getting together with family and friends, and making goodhearted jokes. He enjoyed people and all of life. Visitation will be Sunday, March 11, 2018, 5-7 PM, Horan & McConaty, 3020 Federal Boulevard, in Denver, Colorado 80211. Recitation of the Rosary, Monday, March 12, 2018, 9:30 AM, with Funeral Mass to follow at 10 AM, both at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 3549 Navajo Street, Denver, Colorado 80211. Interment follows at 2 PM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery - Area A, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80235. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Our Lady of Mt.
