Howell, Fred ""Freddie"" 81, passed away peacefully in his sleep August 18, 2009. Beloved father of Bill (Joanne) Howell and Lisa (Bruce) Towner; loving grandfather of 7; proud great grandfather of 1; and brother of 9 brothers and sisters. Preceded in death by his wife and best friend Jean and 5 brothers. Visitation Sunday, August 23, 9-5 pm with Rosary Service at 5 pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave., Aurora. Funeral Mass Monday, August 24, 10:30 am at Church of the Risen Christ, 3060 S. Monaco Pkwy., Denver. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to John F.
