Frederick E. Hammer

Survived by wife Marie-Claire; sons Steve, Kevin, Jean-Philippe; sister Jaci. Preceded in death by parents John & Nina, son Michael. Fred was born in Kearney, NE and was a proud local supporter of that community throughout his life. After living in Oklahoma, Washington DC and Colorado, he received a presidential appointment as Chief of Information Systems for NATO in Belgium where he met his wife. Fred was an avid world traveler and was proud of having been to all seven continents with Marie-Claire. He enjoyed real estate investing, skiing, hiking and was a passionate Nebraska Cornhusker football fan. Above all Fred loved his family including his grandchildren John, Jeremy, Aiden & Asher. His intelligence, optimism and sense of humor will be missed by his many friends. A Celebration of his Life will be held Tue, 02/05/19, 2-5 pm at the Lone Tree Golf Club. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
