Frederick Scott Lewis
"Scotty", "Scotty too Hottie" 51 of Denver, CO.
Scotty was born on Aug. 16, 1971 to Mary Elizabeth Hansen and Robert Leroy Lewis in Peoria, IL. He passed away May, 8, 2023 at Denver Health Hospital with his sister Debra, brother-in-law Tim, daughter Jessie, and lifelong love and friend Joey by his side.
Scott's family and friends would like you to know that he lived life the only way he knew how, as a free spirit and on his own terms. Not everyone agreed with his choices but they were independently his and he was ok with that.
Scott had a heart filled with love for everyone and everything. If Scotty owned the world and you needed it he would gladly give it without question. His Mom would like you to know that he was kind, gentle, and a very handsome man who always made her feel loved.
We always didn't agree with Scotty's choices and he met with hard times and roadblocks in his life but her persevered and received his GED. He was very creative often drawing pictures for friends and loved ones especially his Mom and daughter. Scott loved to write poetry and songs, listening to audio books and he especially loved to dance anywhere anytime and with everyone.
Scott's love for God never went unnoticed. No matter where he was or who he was with God was always on the forefront of his conversations. He loved to talk about his Heavenly Father and how if he had nothing else in his life he was truly blessed to have God.
Frederick Scott Lewis was preceded in death by his father Robert Leroy Lewis and two siblings, Robert Warren Lewis and Theresa Lynn Lewis in Peoria IL.
Surviving is his mother Mary Hansen, his daughter Jessie Marie Kirby (Hector) and five grandchildren: Ryder, Elzayus, Niezellie, Kattleya and Charlize.
He is also survived by four sisters, three brothers and many nieces and nephews:
Sisters, brothers, and their families: Tammy Schissel (Todd) with three children and six grandchildren; Danny Roach (Shelley) with five children and three grandchildren; Debra Dreiling (Tim) with six children and six grandchildren; Catherine Mayotte (Paul) with eight children, thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandson; Robin Andrews (Jack) with three children and five grandchildren; Russell Lewis (Cynthia) with six children and four grandchildren; Peter Lewis with one child.
Making his family tree full and of bountiful of love and adventures. Never a dull moment.
Scott's last wish and final gift was to donate his organs. He was able to help the lives of two people by giving his right and left kidneys as well as donating his pancreas for future research which gives us great comfort as Scott's nephew Robert is type I diabetic and has battled with pancreatitis and other health issues. We are very honored and great full for this last selfless gift that he has given.
