Gail Louis Hamby

March 27, 1943 — February 19, 2009

Brother of Dianne Rastallis (Henry); uncle of Major Sheryl Ott. Also survived by a daughter, two grand-children, aunts, numerous cousins and friends. Gail was a registered member of the Blackfeet Indian Tribe. He served his country in the United States Navy in Vietnam and the Philippines. Gail was a long-time member of the American Legion, Forty & Eight, Sons of the Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a member of the Roofers Union and served as a Marshal for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 23, 2009 at the American Legion Post #1, 5400 East Yale Ave., Denver. A reception will immediately follow. A committal service will be held at a later date at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Youth Activity Fund of the American Legion Post #1.
