Galilea Anastacia Skogen

December 3, 2015 — November 4, 2018

Galilea Anastacia Skogen, 2, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Children's Hospital surrounded by her loving parents, James and Veronica Skogen. Galilea was born on December 3, 2015.

Galilea Anastacia loved the outdoors with such a passion, everything amazed her no matter how small nor simple. She always wanted to be outside. In the summer she loved swimming and playing with the sand. In the winter she enjoyed helping Daddy to shovel the snow, feeling the snowflakes on her face and catching snowflakes on her tongue. She loved to walk and run everywhere and never wanted to be back inside. She was truly a child for nature.

Galilea Anastacia also enjoyed playing hide and seek indoors, playing with makeup and all her stuffed animals. She enjoyed watching Disney movies and then reenacting them. She would learn the dialogue and repeat the scenes along with the movie.

Galilea Anastacia is a blessing from God. She was so talented, smart, witty, generous and loving.

Galilea Anastacia touched many lives with her unique personality, sweet smile, beautiful eyes, and loving heart. She loved to be outdoors and to chase rabbits and birds. She loved dogs and to pet them and play with them.

Galilea Anastacia will always be remembered for her love and compassion. She was so giving with everything. She would share anything and everything, even if it would leave her with a little or none. She loved her Mother and Father with so much love and affection that words could never express the gratitude and how special she made us feel.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother Francisco Alvidrez; maternal grandparents Bertha and Anastacio Garcia; her paternal grandparents James and Rita Skogen; her Uncle Jon Skogen; aunts and uncles Lisa and Eric Hartman and children Sophia and Harrison; Amalia and Michael Lucero and children Bella, Dante and Michael James; Eugeno and Betty Montejo and children Nestor and Grecia; Lina and Hector Vital and children Vicky and Alexander; Perla and Juan Mendoza and children Arath and Isac ; Job Garcia and child Melany; Kathy and Jonny Sosa and children Gael and Nailea.
