Gary Leland Anderson

Gary Anderson passed away on December 17, 2017 in Wheatridge, Colorado. Born on April 8, 1951 in Portland, OR 97227, the son of Irene and Eugene Anderson. He lived in Littleton, Colorado and worked at the National Park Service as a Civil Engineer for 30 years until retiring in 2006. Gary chose to serve the Lord and put the Lord first throughout his life and loved going to the meetings at the Britz home. Gary was a faithful, caring husband and father. Gary loved hiking, nature and music. Gary's last part time Caretaker was Anita, who was very devoted and kind to him. For over a year Beverly took Gary every week, with his guitar and he strummed it while his music instructor, Mark, played the guitar and sang to him. Gary looked forward to going to see Mark very much. Gary is survived by his wife Beverly Anderson; son Darrel Anderson; wife Ashley of Seattle, Washington; son Jason Anderson of Littleton, Colorado; brother Loren Anderson; wife Sherrie Anderson; brother Craig Anderson wife Tammarie of Portland, Oregon. Gary was preceded in death by father Eugene Anderson, mother Irene Anderson. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. January 27th, 2018 at the Willow Ridge Manor at 4903 Willow Springs Rd, Morrison, CO 80465; at Hampton (Highway 285) and Highway 8. Relatives and friends are welcome at the service; potluck luncheon to follow.
