Gary John Ballman

Gary John ballman born on July 6, 1940 and died on May 20, 2004. Beloved husband, 43 years, to Judi Ballman. Father to John, Todd, and the late Scott. Father in law to Deb and Cheryl. Grandfather to Katie, Sarah and soon to be Alexis. Survived by brother Kurt and sister Karen, many nieces and nephews and stepmother Leona. Gary had a full life! After graduating from Michigan State University he played 12 years of pro football. 1961-1966 with the Pittsburgh Steelers; 1967-1972 with the Philadelphia Eagles and the last year split between the New York giants and the Minnesota Vikings. Superbowl VIII was Gary's last game. From there he worked for the NFL Players Association before taking his first "real job" and moving to Denver in 1979. There he became the salesman extraordinar working for Simplex Building Products. Gary retired at age 62 and had a lot of plans for he and his wife's new trailer.
