Gary L Bray Sr. died peacefully, surrounded by family at St. Anthony's Hospital on August 24th at the age of 75. Gary is survived by his wife Margaret ""Mickey""; his siblings Richard (Cyndi) and John; his children Gary Jr. (Cathryn), Mary Miller (Mike), Donna Lusnia (Kevin), Tammy Seifert, and James (Alicia); and sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Gary was born on April 19, 1940 in Omaha, Nebraska to Nolan and Mary Bray. After moving to Denver, he married Margaret in 1960. While raising his children, he taught them the true meaning of hard work and compassion. His family remembers him as a generous, helpful, and loving man. Gary served his country in The National Guard and was incredibly passionate about keeping America free. He is a member of Holy Name Catholic Church where he served as an usher and volunteer. Gary was devoted to helping anyone who was in need and he always strongly supported his familyâmaking sure they would be successful and happy. He will be remembered by his constant love and support. Family and friends are welcome to visitation from 6-7 pm on Thursday at Horan & McConaty funeral home, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO, followed by a Rosary Service at 7 pm. A memorial service will be held at Holy Name Catholic Church, 3290 West Milan Ave., Englewood, CO on Friday at 10 am, with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Gary's life.
