Gary Lee "Red" Wilcoxon, age 70, passed away at Avamere in Brighton, CO on June 6, 2022. Red was born in Cheyenne, WY on February 8, 1952 to Donald & Dorothy Wilcoxon. Gary L. "Red" graduated from Highland High School in 1970. Red furthered his education by the completion of the Boilermaker Apprenticeship on June 29, 1979. Red traveled all over the United States building and repairing Power Plants.

Red's occupation took him to many other countries. The last 15 years of Red's occupation was in Puerto Rico as an Area Construction Manager.

Gary married Mary Kay on April 19, 1974. Red enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

Red is survived by his wife Mary Kay, his grandchildren Paige Marie, Dustin Lee, and Peyton Kathryn and his great grandson Oliver Dale. He's also survived by his brother Greg Andrew, his Godson Donald Amos, and Goddaughter Sheena Marie.

He is also survived by many other relatives and many friends.

Red was preceded in death by his son Mark Dale Wilcoxon, his parents Donald & Dorothy Wilcoxon, and his two brothers Robert and Donald Joe Wilcoxon.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 11am, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, CO with a reception to follow.
