George W. Ferris

George, 81, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014. George W. Ferris, husband of Claudette M. Ferris. Father to Mark W. Ferris, Cynthia J. (John) King, Sandra R. Ferris and Christopher R. Ferris. Grandfather to Adam Rasnic, Robert Barnett, Brianna (Josh) Haas, Caitlin McGee and Molly McGee. Great Grandfather to Autumn Rasnic, Austin Rasnic, McKenzie Haas and Violet McGee. Survived by brother, Lee Delmar (Norma) Ferris. Son-in-law to Andrew (Juanita) Dubois. Brother-in-law to Mark (Rosario) Dubois. Survived by many nephews and nieces. George started his spiritual journey April 24, 1969, with a higher power greater than himself. Being a willing and faithful servant until he heard ""Job well done Son"" and was called home on April 24, 2014. He will be forever and deeply missed by those whose lives he touched. He was a teacher, friend, confidant and example of living a life in the ""Sunlight of the Spirit."" He reminded us that we are all Spirit having a human experience. He is free, like the wind, and his unconditional love. Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2014, 11 AM, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, followed by a reception.
