George Edward Grady

George Edward Grady, 91, from Parker, passed away on December 21, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 1, 1926 in Pueblo, Colorado he was the son of the late Pueblo Chief of Police James Grady and his wife Ruby. George married Joan Butterworth on November 24, 1954 and together they shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. George was a Certified Internal Auditor for the Public Service Company of Colorado for 34 years. He enjoyed learning, reading, painting, graphoanalysis and spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, Joan, he is survived by his children: Alicia Sukle and her husband, Tim of Parker, and Glen Grady and his wife, Bambi of Pueblo; and six grandchildren. A memorial service for George will be held on Friday, January 5, 2017 at 11:30am at Christ’s Episcopal Church, 615 4th Street, Castle Rock, CO 80104, followed by a Remember George Reception at 1:30pm at Parker Assisted Living by Morningstar, 11000 Dransfeldt Road, Parker, CO, 80134.
