George ""Dusty"" Rhodes

George B. ""Dusty"" Rhodes, 81, of Northglenn, CO passed away May 24, 2015. Dusty was born in Ripley, WV. He served four years in the US Air Force that he felt changed his life for the better, was honorably discharged Airman First Class, 1957. During his service, he met his wife Evelyn, nee D'Antonio, at Holloman AFB, NM, and married 1958. After moving to Colorado in 1960, Dusty found himself working in the insurance industry, a rewarding career that lasted over 42 years. Dusty is survived by his wife of 56 years, children Chris, Cindy and Mike, brother Raymond (OH) and sister Suzie Huber (NM), seven grandchildren, and loving extended family. Memorial service with military honors will be Sunday, May 31, at 10am, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel in Thornton with a short ceremony and burial to follow at Highland Cemetery.
