George John Seader III

George John Seader III, of Aurora, CO at age 69 was taken Home by our Lord Jesus on October 2, 2018, after a fulfilled life and courageous seven year battle with cancer.

Following high school, George enlisted in the United States Air Force, retiring at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. During his 22 ½ year decorated military career, he served in Vietnam and was awarded many honors, including Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with Valor Device, 4 Oak Leaf Cluster and Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross and Palm.

George was a kind soul, loyal friend to many, and loving father to four children, with whom he shared his hobbies and pleasures in life. George enjoyed shooting his gun collection and making ammunition, restoring cars and motorcycles, fishing, and celebrating accomplishments with a glass of Gentleman Jack whiskey.

He married the love of his life, Wendy Seader, in June 1999. She was his rock and his most fierce support in life - he, her best friend, who she affectionately referred to as her ""Passion Prince - Sweet of Sweets"".

He was a jack of all trades and mastered them all. George loved telling ""knee slapping"" stories and jokes, bringing all those around him joy. He adored cooking for his family and was infamous for his beer pancakes, spanish rice, and crepes.

Survived by: Wife (Wendy Seader), Son (Adam Seader), Daughter (Amber Seader), Father (George John Seader Jr.), Sister (Sandra Seader), eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Services will take place on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Lakewood, Colorado 80227 with visitation from 12-1 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Committal Service at 2:30 p.m., Shelter B, at Ft. Logan National Cemetery where full Air Force Honors will be rendered. Please meet at Staging Area B.
