George Marshall Wood

George Wood was born on July 29, 1943 to Dan Wood and Julia Wood (Jacobs) in Denver, Colorado. He remained in Colorado for all of his life, and he has been assisted by Developmental Disabilities Resource Center (DDRC) for the past 25 years. George did a variety of volunteer activities in his life with the help of DDRC which included delivering Meals on Wheels and working as a Custodian for the Jeffco Action Center. George is survived by his brother, Dan (Sharill) Wood; nephews, Wayne Wood and James Wood; nieces, Carol Bell and Jill Noffsinger.

A Memorial Service to celebrate George's life will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Horan & McConaty Lakewood Chapel. The address is 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Lakewood, CO 80227.
