George Wortham

George Wortham was born Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1924 in Newport, Rhode Island and died peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, just shy of his 94th birthday. He was preceded in death by his parents Lena Mary (Pinto) Wortham and Rignal Leon Wortham and older brother Dominic Leon Wortham. George is survived by his wife of almost 69 years, Marjorie Ellen Wortham and his four children, Reginald Edward Wortham, Barbara Jean Wortham, Mary Ellen Wortham and Joan Maureen Wortham; three grandchildren, Max Baylor Krimmer, Hunter Donahue Wortham and Tess Hayden Krimmer. On Wednesday, February 14th, his Celebration of Life will begin with a 5:00PM Visitation, followed by a 7:00PM Rosary at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave, Aurora, Colorado 80014. A Funeral Mass and reception will be held at 10:00AM the next day, Thursday, February 15th, at St. Pius X Parish, 13670 E. 14th Pl, Aurora, Colorado 80011. Interment 9:15AM, Friday February 16th, at Fort Logan National Cemetery Staging Area ""C"", 4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236.
