George P. Yedo

George P. Yedo passed away on October 24, 2019. He was born on February 22, 1931 to Jacob and Katy Yedo in Denver, Colorado.

His First wife Florence, sister Mary, Brothers John, Joseph and James preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife Ruby, Daughters Diona and Linda. Sons Thomas and Timothy, stepchildren Tammy, John and David. He also has five granddaughters and 7 Grandsons and 8 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

George was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and friend to everyone who knew him. He loved hunting, fishing, dancing, Japanese Bunka, traveling and playing poker at the Elks. He enjoyed family get togethers especially playing Aggrevation, he always had a very competitive spirit.

He always said he was blessed as the luckiest man in the world to have been loved by two wonderful women,his first wife Florence and his second wife Ruby.

George touched each one of his families hearts in a very special way and left his imprint on each of them.

There will be a Viewing beginning at 9:00 AM with a Rosary at 9:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass, starting at 10:00 AM, on October 31st, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7595 N. Federal Blvd, Westminster Colorado 80030. Following the services, George will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 12801 West 44tth Avenue, Wheat Ridge Colorado 80033. Everyone is invited to join the family at the Westminster Elks following the Burial for a Celebration of George’s Life. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital: stjude.org/donate.
