Georgee Helen Kidney

Georgee Kidney 87, beloved wife of Albert O. Kidney, mother of Leroy Kidney (Kay) and Jerry Kidney (Vicki) passed away on July 28, 2011. She was greatly loved by her grandchildren Kevin (Stephanie) and Eric Kidney, Jeri Lynn Garduno (Joe), and Jennifer Kidney, Dave Gilliland (Kristi) and Julie (Tim) Calahan. Family was the most important thing in her life, and she had a special relationship with her great grandchildren: Brandon and Lauren Kidney, Madison, Niko, and Alyssa Garduno, Audrey and Olivia Hornsby, and Nora and Wyatt Gilliland. She is also survived by one sister, Goldie Troutwine, and numerous nieces and nephews. Georgee was born in Parnell, Missouri on October 7, 1923 to Luke & Melinda Steinman, she had 15 brothers and sisters. Albert Kidney was from Grant City, Missouri, and was a decorated veteran of World War II. They were married on October 27, 1941. They moved to Denver shortly after they were married. Georgee worked and retired from Samsonite Corp. Albert worked and retired from Gates Rubber Co. There is a tremendous sadness in the whole family, and ""Grandma"" will be greatly missed, as she was so adored and loved by all. Services will be held Tuesday, 10:00 am at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood. Interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
