Georgia Warford Ferguson

Georgia Lee Warford Ferguson, 80, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away on March 3, 2014. She was born March 5, 1933, in Denver, Colorado to Oscar Lee Warford and Martha (Vigil) Warford. Georgia was the oldest of eight children and would like to be remembered as a good and loving sister. She was an avid gardner, spending many hours tending to her roses and flower beds which encircled her home. Crafting including crocheting and holiday decorating, especially Christmas, which gave her many hours of pleasure. Many remember her love of cooking, how much she enjoyed dining out, and family gatherings. Georgia often candidly expressed her thoughts and opinions which endeared her to us all. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen A. Warford-Campbell (husband, Stephen Campbell); granddaughter, Hayley Campbell Porter (husband, Jeffery Porter); siblings, Mary Englund, Odette Steuve (husband, Duane), Ethel Runyon (husband, Leo), Reuben Warford (wife, Paula); sister-in-law, JoAnne Warford, brother-in-law, Jerry McDonald; cousin, Sylvia Maestas; 19 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, William Ferguson; siblings, Gary Warford, Dennis Warford and JoAnn McDonald. Recitation of the Rosary will take place on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 7 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, CO 80226. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 10:30AM at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 6673 W Chatfield Ave, Littleton, CO 80128. Interment will follow at 1:30PM Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, CO 80236. A donation of your choice may be made in loving memory of Georgia Ferguson.
