Georgine ""Gine"" Coleman

Georgine Coleman of Commerce City, Colorado, daughter of Edna and Marion Coleman (deceased) was born in 1943 and passed away May 10, 2014. She leaves behind her partner Joe Carmichael, her twin sister Georgia Barrow (Jim) and family of Santa Rosa, CA, her brother Gary Coleman (Marilyn) and family of Abilene, KS, and many relatives of the Edna Decker and Marion Coleman families. Georgine ""Gine"" was a long time social worker in Denver (40+ years) and was awarded Who's Who Among Students at Sterling College in 1965. She was Distinguished Teacher of the Year in Colorado in 1992. She was beloved by everyone she knew for her energy, enthusiasm and her loving, caring ways. Cousin Wayne Castle (Margie) will lead a Memorial Service 11 AM Wednesday, May 14 at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver.
