Gerald ""Jerry"" Weed

Gerald (""Jerry"") Weed, passed away November 25, 2013 at age 87. He grew up in Orient, Iowa as one of 12 children of Gertrude and Lonnie Weed. Jerry just celebrated his 63rd wedding anniversary with wife, Charlotte. He and Charlotte lived in Littleton, Colorado and have four children: Mike, Dave (and Sherry), Sharla (and Bob), and Tammy (and Mike); ten grandchildren: Trevor, Tony, Andrea, Bridget (and Mike), Derek, Greg (and Laurien), AK (and Lauren), Wes, Evan, and Elise; three great grandchildren: Ashley, Madison, and Isabelle; and one great, great grandchild: Dahlia. In addition to his wife and children, Jerry is survived by his brother, George, and his sisters, Wanda, Waneta, and Ruth. Jerry was a kind, loving husband, parent and grandparent who cared deeply for his family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors—camping, fishing, hiking, skiing, golfing, and flower gardening. He's an avid Broncos fan, could solve any Sudoku or word puzzle, enjoyed making homemade vanilla ice cream, crafted beautiful stained glass pieces, and loved to clown around. His smile was contagious. A service will be held for Jerry at 3:00 pm on November 30 at Saint Luke's Methodist Church, 8817 South Broadway, Littleton, CO. A reception will follow at 4:00 pm at Horan & McConaty, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, CO.
