Gertrude Veenstra

Gertrude ""Trudy"" Veenstra, 97, entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at her home in Aurora, Colorado. Trudy was born on March 17, 1915, in Laketown, Michigan, a daughter of the late Edward and Dena Plasman. She was preceded in death by siblings John , Edward, Donald, Gary, Katherine Beltman and Margaret Keen; and is survived by her brother, Roger Plasman. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her husband, Ferdinand; children Donna (Lorren) Ballard, Carol Shaffer, Jack (Debbra), Dwight and Marc Veenstra; her grandchildren, Erika (Tim) Keeton, Nicholas (Rachel) and Joshua (Maegan) Veenstra; and 3 great grandchildren. A private family service is planned.
