Gilberto Gonzalez

Gilberto González, de 101 años, de Westminster Colorado, entró en la vida eterna el 29 de Agosto de 2024. Nacido el 6 de Febrero de 1923 en El Salvador Gilberto era un trabajador de la construcción que emigró a los Estados Unidos en el año 1987 con la esperanza de una vida mejor para su esposa, 9 hijos y las generaciones que vendrían de sus familias. 

 A Gilberto le gustaba viajar, bromear con los demás y pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos. Gilberto fue un esposo, padre, abuelo y bisabuelo amoroso y devoto. Estaba orgulloso de la familia grande que María y él crearon. Será recordado por ser un hombre trabajador, su personalidad amable, divertida, bromista y su fuerte presencia.

 A Gilberto le precedieron en la muerte su esposa María Elba González, su nieta Keren Noemí Torres y su hermano Eduardo González. A Gilberto le sobreviven sus 9 hijos Gloria González, Arnoldo González, Ángela Santana, Manuel González, Juan González, Carmen González, Emelda Torres, Rosa Hernández y Héctor González. Su única hermana Elvira Gonzalez y todos sus nietos, bisnietos, familiares y amigos.

 En honor a Gilberto se llevará a cabo una visita pública el sábado 7 de Septiembre de 2024 de 10:00 AM hasta la 1:00 PM. seguida de un servicio privado de 1:00 PM hasta las 2:00 PM.

 Porque para mí vivir es Cristo y morir es ganancia.

 Gilberto Gonzalez age 101 of Westminster Colorado entered eternal life on August 29th, 2024. Born February 6th, 1923 in El Salvador Gilberto was a construction worker who immigrated to the United States the year of 1987 in hopes for a better life for his wife, 9 children and the generations that would come from their families. 

 Gilberto enjoyed traveling, joking around with others and spending time with his family and friends. Gilberto was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He took pride in the large family Maria and he created. He will be remembered for being a hard-working man, his kind, funny, joking personality and his strong presence.

 Gilberto is preceded in death by his wife Maria Elba Gonzalez, his granddaughter Keren Noemi Torres, and his brother Eduardo Gonzalez. Gilberto is survived by his 9 children Gloria Gonzalez, Arnoldo Gonzalez, Angela Santana, Manuel Gonzalez, Juan Gonzalez, Carmen Gonzalez, Emelda Torres, Rosa Hernandez and Hector Gonzalez. He is also survived by all his grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.

 In honor of Gilberto a public viewing will be held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM followed by a private service from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
