Gladys E. Bernard

Gladys E. Bernard (Alexander) was born in Ovid, Colorado on December 25th, 1925 to Otto ""Ray"" and Fern Alexander. She had a brother Ron (Thelma) Alexander. She married the love of her life Donald ""Don"" Bernard on March 10th, 1946. She raised 5 children Larry (Rosemary) Bernard, Dean Bernard, Sheila (Charlie) Newlon, LaDonna (Steve) Bonney, and Cheryl (Jay) Howard. She enjoyed her 7 grandsons David (Erin) Bernard, Luke (Megan) Newlon, Jon Bernard, Anthony (Samantha) Bonney, Seth (Michelle) Newlon, Josh Bonney and Gary Bonney. She loved her great-grandchildren Kaitlynn, Levi, Aspen, and Christopher. She was loved by her in-laws, Erma, Jim, Thelma and Maxine and was loved by many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband of 58 years Don, her son Larry, her great grandson Christopher, her granddaughter Erin, and her brother Ron. A Visitation will be held Thursday, December 14th at 11am, immediately followed a Funeral Service at 12pm at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel 7577 West 80th Ave, Arvada, CO 80003. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Arvada Cemetery 5581 Independence St, Arvada, CO 80002 following the Funeral Service. You are invited to join the family for a Reception at Randi’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant 12312 West 64th Avenue, Arvada, CO 80004.
