Glen E. Neidert

July 21, 1929 — April 20, 2017

Glen E. Neidert, age 87, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, passed away on April 20, 2017. He was born to Fritz and Genevieve Lancaster Neidert in 1929. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia J. Neidert, daughter Lenora (Kerry) Kroner, son Carl (Mary Ann) Neidert. Brother of Fred (Dottie) Neidert, Paul (Dorothy) Neidert, sister Dorothy Grant. Grandfather of Nicholas (Cydney) Pennington, Brooke (Stephen) Cleckley, Alex (Katharina) Pennington. Glen's passions were trains, the Denver Broncos, fishing on Chalk Creek, and spending time in the Colorado Mountains, especially at the family cabin on Mt. Princeton. He loved the Lord and had several years where is read the Bible in its entirety. He formally served as a Deacon at Grace Baptist Church in Parker. The majority of Glen's career was as a District Sales Manager for Lone Star Steel. He worked for Lone Star for 35 years and was the first salesperson to be recognized twice as Salesman of the Year. After retiring from Lone Star, Glen served as Board Chairman of Southgate Water & Sanitation Distict(s) for 16 years. At the end of Glen's final term, the Southgate Building was renamed The Neidert Building in his honor. Glen also served on the Board of the Park Meadows Metropolitan District. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Arapahoe Road Baptist Church, 780 E Arapahoe Rd. Centennial, CO 80122. Lunch will follow in the Fellowship Hall. Memorial donations are suggested to the Arapahoe Road Baptist Church Pre-school Building Renovation (address above) or Denver Hospice, 501 S.
