Glendon Dewey Davidson peacefully left this life on June 11, 2010 in Lakewood, Colorado. Glendon was born in Clark County, Ohio on August 1, 1922 to Bessie Lucille (Vandeveer) and Raymond Dewey Davidson. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 52 years, Lyda M. (Skidmore) Davidson; his 1st wife, Martha Louise (Culley) Davidson; his son, Carl Edwin Davidson; and brother Frank (Flo) Davidson of Vidor, Texas. Glendon is survived and sadly missed by his loving daughter, Deborah S. King and devoted son-in-law, Patrick Joseph (PJ) King who together, gratefully provided his care during the last few years of his life. Also surviving are his daughter, Karen E. Davidson; grandson, Jason; granddaughter, Amy; great grandchildren; brother, Melville (Alice) Davidson; sisters, Frieda Iddings, and Ida Ruth (Richard) Ketchum. Glendon proudly served our Naval Forces during World War II. He and Lyda enjoyed their retirement years traveling the Country and visiting with friends and relatives. A private service was held in Lakewood, Colorado with burial in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio as was Glendon's final wish.
