Glenn Allen Penske

Glenn Allen Penske, age 76, passed away on March 16th, 2025, at his home in Denver Colorado.

He was born in 1948 and raised in Vesta Minnesota. He graduated in 1967 from Echo High School. During high school he worked for his father shelling corn. After high school he married Irma Pol, and they had 3 children together. He then served 2 years in the Army where he was stationed in Germany. After his discharge, he worked varies jobs around Redwood Falls then he started at Great Plains Natural Gas in 1980, until retirement in 2006.

After retirement he moved to Denver to be closer to his beloved sons. He enjoyed watching Nascar racing, baseball, basketball and Vikings football. He also loved to do yard work and relax.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Arletta Tubbs Penske, and his brother Ronald (Ronnie).

He is survived by his 3 children: Brant, Thomas, and Jeremy, who all live in the Denver area; 2 sisters, Peggy (Vesta) and Lorrine (Alexandria); and 2 brothers, Wesley (Russell ) and Robert (Lucan ); 1 uncle, 2 aunts, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A private memorial will be planned at a later date.
