Glenn J. Zepp

Glenn Zepp, 85, went home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Patricia; father of Kristy (Dennis) Reuss, Shelly (Lewis) Covert, Gayle (Kim) Nielsen, Jill (Joe) Cook and John (Julie) Zepp; grandfather of Leah, Matt, Devin, Nate, Vinnie, Lindsey, Stacey, Austin, Ryan, Nathan, Jordyn, Joy, Jonathan, Jenna, Jaella, Jillian, Lara, Tyler, Kyle, Savannah, Vance, Jesse and Donovan; and great grandfather of 13. He survived his sister Harriet J. Buss by only eight hours. He was preceded in death by his daughter Margo Lyn Christy, and granddaughter Janae Cook. Glenn enlisted in the Army Air Corps before he graduated from high school and reported for duty right after graduation. He was stationed at Lowry Air Base in Denver for four years where he learned to love Colorado. After he was discharged he moved home to Emmaus, Pennsylvania and worked for Acme Grocery. He returned to Denver to attend DU where he graduated with a degree in ""Airline and Airport Management"". Glenn chose to return to the grocery business and retired from Safeway after 47 years. Over his lifetime, his passion was youth. He invested in the lives of many through his church related ministries, children and grandchildren. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Glenn's life will be Monday, June 4, 2012, 3:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church, 15555 E. Quincy Avenue, Aurora, CO 80015. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Trinity Baptist Church, OR American Cancer Society, 2255 S. Oneida Street, Denver, CO 80224.
