Gloria A. DeFreece

Gloria Ann DeFreece, 86, resident of Thornton, CO passed away on July 22, 2019. She was born to Rueben and Vera Crock on December 26, 1932 in Pine Bluffs, WY. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Walter DeFreece in 1985, and her son Richard ""Rick"" DeFreece in 2014.

Gloria is survived by her daughters Susan Dianne Melson and her husband Steve, Wanda Lynn Franca (DeFreece); her son Walter Ervin ""Walt"" DeFreece and his wife Karen; her daughter in law Diane DeFreece; her grandchildren Gregory S. (Jaslyn) Melson, Brian R. DeFreece, Jason P. (Jessica) DeFreece, Bridget L. (Thomas) Johnson, Timothy D. (Christine) Melson, Michelle C. (Nathaniel) Frase, Ann F. (Jesus) Sosa; her great grandchildren Mariah Sosa, Hailey Sosa, Gloria Sosa, Jalynn Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Austin Melson, Juliana Melson, Victoria Melson, Benjamin Melson, Braylon DeFreece, Curran DeFreece, Kelton DeFreece, Owen DeFreece, Aedan Frase, Silas Melson, David Melson, and Sudie Melson; her sister Marci Danielson; her loving companion dog Princess; and many other loving family members and friends. Gloria will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held to celebrate her life on Friday, August 2, 2019, 11:00am at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel (9998 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado).

Gloria will be laid to rest at 1pm on Saturday, August 3rd at Pine Bluffs Cemetery in Wyoming, where she will be reunited with her late husband Walter.
