Gloria Ann (Suthard) Redford was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She passed away peacefully on November 26th, 2021, of natural causes.
Gloria was born in Madisonville, Kentucky on April 21, 1938. Gloria married Jimmy Darrel Redford and they lived in San Diego, California for most of their working lives. Gloria and Jimmy retired to Highlands Ranch, Colorado, in 1995 where they spent their days on the golf course, drinking iced tea on the patio, and visiting with friends. Gloria is survived by her son Darrel (Christa), and grandsons, Everett and Wyatt, of Littleton, Colorado.
Gloria loved musical theater and performed in The Singing Christmas Tree through Del Cerro Baptist Church. Gloria could always be found spending time touring Hotel Del Coronado, volunteering at Sky Ridge Medical Center, or serving as a docent at Cherokee Ranch & Castle. She loved singing and sharing stories of historical places. Gloria was always donned in red. Her smile was contagious and her infectious laugh could be heard from far distances.
Gloria’s service will be held at 11:00 AM on December 16th, 2021, at Horan Mcconaty (5303 E County Line Rd, Centennial, Colorado 80122). The service can be viewed online at the following link for 30 days. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Del Cerro Baptist Church (5512 Pennsylvania Lane, La Mesa, California 91942) or Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery (1800 Cabrillo Memorial Drive, San Diego, California 92101).
Please share your memories of Gloria and condolences with her family on the Tribute Wall.
