Gloria Dolores Romero

Gloria Dolores Romero (nee Gonzales) 75, died January 31, 2017. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Roger, whom she married on January 19, 1962. Also preceded in death by grandparents, Rosa and Nicasio Esparza, parents, Manuel & Vera Gonzales, brother Rudy and sister, Mary Puente. Born in Fort Collins, she attended and graduated from Sacred Heart and Annunciation Catholic schools. Gloria worked at Martin Marietta for many years followed by a time in the hospitality industry in northwest Denver. Gloria is survived by her beloved family of two children, Roger (Stephanie) and Randy (Valerie), eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, sisters Carmen (Mike), Penny Lucille (Arthur) and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, February 6, 12:30 PM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2626 East Seventh Avenue Parkway followed by burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery, staging area ""C,"" with her husband, Roger. Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made in Gloria's name to Gabriel House Project, 1341 Oneida, Denver, 80220 or charity of choice.
