Gloria Salva Waters, age 74, passed away peacefully in her home on May 25th, 2022, after a courageous battle of uterine cancer.
Gloria was born on December 23rd, 1947 in Manila, Philippines to Bonifacio and Pilar Salva. She graduated in Copperas Cove, Texas. Gloria worked as a registered nurse at Cherry Creek Nursing Center in Aurora, Colorado. Born Catholic and ordained as a minister in 2002 of the Christian faith. Gloria is survived by her sister and brothers, Zenaida, Benjamin, and Richard Salva, 4 children of her own, Keenan, Adam, Kitt, and John Waters, niece, Stephany Kelley, 14 grandchildren, Austin, Josh, Malachi, Isaiah, Uriah, Bishop, Ezekial, Salisia, Isreal, Julian, Hilario, Bishop, Uriah, Elijah, Peyton, Khloe, Adriana, and Mason.
Besides spending time with family and friends, Gloria had a passion for caretaking, sewing, antiques, collecting Filipino traditions, and taking unique and memorable pictures of family. Gloria had a bright and energetic personality and was known for her ability to sense when people needed her help. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life. She practiced Christianity and spread the Word through faith in hopes to better society.
