It is with mixed feelings of deep sadness yet great joy that we announce the passing of Glorie Gloria-Javier, aged 54, from Parker, Colorado who has gone to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Glorie left us on December 4, 2023, after valiantly battling metastatic breast cancer.
Born on May 31, 1969, Glorie was the beloved daughter of Ricardo, the former Education Secretary of the Philippines, and Sevilla, a dedicated former teacher.
Glorie's journey in nursing began at the University of Santo Tomas (UST), where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1989. Her skill and dedication led her to be recruited as an operating room nurse at Palm Springs General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida, in 1992. This marked the start of a distinguished career in nursing, a profession where she touched many lives with her care and expertise.
In 1995, Glorie's life blossomed with love as she married Arod. The following year, they moved to Colorado, a place they would call home. Here, Glorie continued her passion for nursing at Rose Medical Center in Denver.
The year 2002 was a joyous one for Glorie and Arod, as they welcomed their son, Jedd, who brought immense happiness and completed their family.
Glorie's professional path saw her join Sky Ridge Medical Center in 2003, where she played a pivotal role in opening the Main Operating Room. Her information technology and nursing expertise were further recognized in 2007 when she became the OR Analyst.
In 2008, Glorie faced a personal challenge when she was diagnosed with stage 0 right breast cancer. She underwent surgery and treatments with unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.
Continuing her journey in healthcare, Glorie joined the Clinical Informatics team of HealthOne in 2013 as an Electronic Health Record Specialist for Sky Ridge Medical Center.
In 2015, Glorie was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer and underwent multiple surgeries and treatments.
After a long valiant fight and having explored all possible treatments, Glorie passed from death to eternal life on December 4, 2023, leaving behind husband, Arod, and son, Jedd.
