Gloris Diane Sargent-Griffin, 70, passed away September 5, 2008, at her home in Northglenn, Colorado. She was born February 6, 1938, in Brighton, Colorado, the first child of William A. Sargent Sr. and Willetta Louise Williams Sargent. For 30+ years, Gloris worked as a Respiratory Therapist/Pulmonary Technician at St. Anthony Central Hospital in Denver, a position in which she excelled and dearly loved until her retirement in 2003. Throughout her life, she enjoyed cooking, landscape photography, reading, the Denver Broncos and, most of all, her family. She is survived by her sisters, Sherry Stickle of Englewood, Colorado, & Valerie Sargent-Annibal (Lynn) of Thornton, Colorado; and her brother, William Sargent Jr. of Keenesburg, Colorado. Also, nieces Laura Turner & Lisa Stickle; nephews Dean Annibal, Van & Vaughn Sargent; four grand-nieces and one grand-nephew. Gloris will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at Horan & McConaty, 9998 Grant St. in Thornton, across from the Thornton Town Center.
