Graham A. Davies, age 89, died at Aviva Rehab Center Fitzsimmons in Aurora, Colorado on May 24th, 2020 from Covid-19.
Born 8/23/1930 in West Hartford, Connecticut, he also lived in Long Island, NY; Morocco, Africa; Pleasanton, CA; Vero Beach, FL; and Aurora, CO. Graham was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired in 1973, with 23 years active duty service. He served in Vietnam from 1967-1968. He was a real estate agent after retirement.
Graham and Mary celebrated 67 years of marriage together on May 2nd, 2020. Theirs was a love affair to remember with Graham passing exactly one week to the hour apart from Mary. They couldnât live without eachother.
Survivors include his daughters Diane Gregorius (Bob), Marlene Davies (Ray Anderson) and granddaughter Hayley Gregorius, all residing in the Denver metro area.
Graham had a wonderful family and so loved his granddaughter Hayley. He also loved to travel and was proud to say he visited all 50 states. Golf was his game of choice. You could always find him on a green fairway enjoying the outdoors. He volunteered at Walnut Hills Elementary School after retirement. He and his wife Mary enjoyed bingo and fun activities at Morningstar Jordan Assisted Living Community.
Due to coronavirus, a small private family viewing will be held at Horan & McConaty (11150 East Dartmouth Ave., Aurora, CO 80014) at 11am on Friday, May 29th. A Graveside Service with full military honors will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery on a date to be determined. Relatives and friends are welcome to a forthcoming celebration of life for Graham with date to be determined.
