Graham Wiles

April 30, 1974 — April 22, 2022

It is with great sadness and sorrow the family of Graham Wiles share his passing.

Graham was born April 30th, 1974 in Des Moines, Iowa to parents Pat and Carl Wiles. His hometown of Jamesport, Missouri is where Graham called home and loved to return to visit. It is there he graduated valedictorian of his class and formed lasting friendships that he cherished always.

He enjoyed summer baseball and basketball tournaments. Graham was a Varsity Player on the High School Basketball team and excelled and enjoyed all sports from track to softball.

Graham was also active in Boy Scout Troop 107 and achieved Scouting’s highest degree of Eagle Scout. Through Scouting, he spent many summers at Camp Geiger, where he was a member of the Tribe of Mico-Say, served on camp staff, and was lead Runner and Tapper.

Graham’s love of basketball led him to St Mary’s college in Leavenworth, Kansas. There he received his BA in Sociology and began a career in assisting others. Yet, St Mary’s is where Graham found his true love, Julia Adler.

A passion for the outdoors, nature, and music drew Graham to Colorado. Julia soon followed and in June of 2001 the two were wed. The story of their love for one another was evident in their travels and adventures to concerts and locations around the country.

Graham and Julia had a shared interest and devotion to their lifelong teams the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals. He enjoyed attending games at home with family and friends and was proud to display his KC gear everywhere he went.

On January 4th, 2008, Graham and Julia welcomed their little angel Kyra Ann Wiles into their hearts and home. This forever would be Graham’s legacy of caring and loving his wife and daughter. His passion for softball and basketball spilled into Kyra and the two enjoyed moments at the court, field, Nuggets games or concerts.

Graham’s intense passion for music and its historical roots were always present. If you knew Graham you were blessed to discover new music from him or maybe enjoyed a great show with him!

Though tragic and sudden his passing, Graham lives on in each who was blessed to have called him husband, father, son, brother, family, and friend. He left a lasting mark on all who crossed his path!
