Gregory James Butzen

Greg was born in Leadville, Colorado to parents James and Danelgene Butzen. As years went by the Butzen family moved to Denver and settled down at their home in Green Mountain. Greg grew up following the footsteps of his older brother, Jeff, while leaving tracks for his younger brother, Bobby. All the while Boffa was at his side. Greg graduated from Green Mountain High School with academic awards, tennis trophies and bowling bragging rights. Greg decided to work at King Soopers. He had a variety of jobs and worked at several different stores during his 29 year career. During these years he made great friends and shared his smile with hundreds. He will be dearly missed! Greg was preceded in death by his father, James Butzen, Aunt Lucille, and cousin Eugene Butzen. Greg is survived by his mother Danelgene Butzen, brothers Jeff and Bob (Traci) and his beautiful niece Tristan Butzen. Greg enjoyed fishing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, camping, dirt biking, and hunting. He shared these experiences with any of his friends that had the time to join him.
